The privacy of your data is a big deal to us. We say "your data" intentionally because it belongs to you. We only access your data when necessary, such as to help you with a problem, fix a software bug, or perform maintenance on our systems. We’ll never sell your data to third parties, or use it in any way that is not outlined in this document.
This privacy policy applies to all data we ("Polyglossia") keep about you, your organization, and the data you store in your account.
When you use Polyglossia, we collect and process your personally identifiable information like your account credentials, name, email address, and other necessary information. This information is used to provide our services, personalize your account, and to correspond with you. We do not collect data about you that is not required for our legitimate administration or operations.
When you contact Polyglossia with questions or ask for help, we will keep a record of that correspondence and the details of your inquiry for future reference. If you browse our marketing pages or request a publication, we may keep record of this data along with any other information you volunteer.
The only times we’ll share your data are:
Polyglossia won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless we receive a court order. We will always inform you when such requests are made, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
All of your data is encrypted via SSL/TLS every step of the way. This is just one of many measures we take to ensure your data is protected. All information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to our servers is protected by a firewall with restricted access groups, and internally we access your data at your request or when dealing with a support or maintenance issue. Database records are written to multiple disks simultaneously, backed up hourly, and stored encrypted in multiple locations around the world.
Audio data is encrypted and streamed over a VPN to our servers in the cloud. It is never stored unless you request a short sample to be recorded for debugging purposes. Those samples are automatically deleted after 10 days.
Should Polyglossia become aware of any data breach within our system, we will notify you within 1 week of discovering the breach.
Polyglossia provides optional third party integrations to provide you with services that you request. For example, ProPresenter. We only access third party software to provide you with services you request, nothing else.
We never access any data on systems you have chosen to integrate with Polyglossia for any purpose beside providing our service to you.
All payment processing is handled through Stripe. Your payment data is never entered on a Polyglossia property, and we are unable to view your payment method details.
You may request your data be deleted from our systems and our third party providers at any time. Any deleted data will be removed from our system and purged from our backups within 60 days. At the time of your request we will also ask our third party providers to remove all your information. While your account is active, anything you delete will also be entirely removed from our system and purged from our backups within 60 days.
If your account remains inactive for one full year, we may choose to remove all traces of your data from our system. An account is deemed inactive if no payment has been processed & no user has logged in within the past year.
Polyglossia may update this policy from time to time. We’ll notify you about significant changes by emailing the account owner or placing a prominent notice on your account. You can access, change, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting Polyglossia:
